Dr Sabina
BBiomed, DDS (Melb)
Sabina graduated from the University of Melbourne with the Doctor of Dental Surgery. Having spent her training in rural Victoria, she has been working at Kensington Smiles since 2016. She enjoys working together with all members of the family to achieve happy, healthy smiles. In particular, Sabina enjoys seeing children for their regular dental visits and with her gentle nature, she can make their first dental experiences enjoyable – which will no doubt leave good impressions for their future dental visits. She believes dental visits should start early to minimise the difficulties associated with early dental decay.
Sabina has a special interest in braces and Invisalign to help improve patients’ confidence and also enjoys helping patients manage pain associated with their jaw (TMD).
Dr Darren
DDS (Melb)
A Melbourne local, Darren completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne. While he enjoys all aspects of dentistry, his main area of interest lies in restorative treatments. His goal is to ensure each visit is comfortable while building a strong, trusting relationship with his patients.
Apart from English, Darren speaks Shanghainese and is proficient in Japanese.
Outside of dentistry, he spends his time perfecting his golf game, playing the guitar, and working on his music album.
Dr Timothy
BDSc (WA)
Timothy obtained his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia in 2008. He later moved from the sunny beaches of WA to establish his practice in Melbourne.
His extensive experience treating a wide range of patients, combined with ongoing professional development, has led to a strong focus on managing complex dental concerns and cosmetic dental rehabilitation, including dental implants.

Beyond dentistry, Timothy values spending quality time with his wife and two young daughters.
He speaks English, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Mandarin and consults on Monday mornings and Friday evenings.

Dr Rama Chockalingam
Dental practitioner
Dr. Rama graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2010 and has worked across several locations in both Melbourne and rural Victoria over the past 10 years. He has a special interest in oral surgery as he finds this area of dentistry interesting and challenging. This has led to him completing multiple professional development courses that focus on complex extractions and other surgical procedures. With a strong passion for oral surgery, his favourite type of dental procedure are wisdom teeth extractions. Dr. Rama understands that coming to the dentist to have a tooth removed can be stressful. With many years of experience and training, he is able to ensure the process is efficient and all of his patients remain comfortable during the entire procedure. In his spare time, he also enjoys listening to podcasts and exploring Melbourne’s best cycling trails.
Dr Tina
BDSc (La Trobe)
Tina completed her dental training at La Trobe University and provides comprehensive general dental care with a calm, patient-focused approach. She places great importance on helping patients feel informed and comfortable throughout their dental experience. Tina is known for her thorough and considered approach to treatment, with strong attention to detail. She values evidence-based dentistry and takes pride in delivering high-quality care that is tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Outside of the clinic, Tina enjoys staying active through running and spending time outdoors walking her dog. Tina speaks English and Korean.
